Johann Bettenger Family

 Johann Bettenger born 4 December 1817 in Dettweyler, County Saarbrukken, Rheinpreusen to Peter Bettenger and Margaretha Nicholaus. He married Elizabeth Jungfleisch in May 1841.[1] Elizabeth was born November 1820 to Jakob Jungfleisch and Elisabeth Wohl.[2]

The family moved to Lycoming County, Pennsylvania from Pottsville, Pennsylvania and returned to Pottsville in the spring of 1852.[3] Johann was an innkeeper in Pottsville.[4]
